Once again, Yamaha has made no attempts to justify the price hike even though it is fairly nominal. For the money, the FZS offers a full-LED headlight, a digital negative LCD instrument cluster, single-channel ABS, and an under cowl. Recently, as part of a crucial update, the FZS received Bluetooth connectivity via Yamaha’s app. It is powered by a 149cc single-cylinder motor making 12.4PS and 13.2Nm with a side-stand engine cut-off feature.
After the price hike, the Vintage Edition of the FZS-FI costs almost Rs 1,400 more than the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V’s dual-disc variant, which, in turn, is a more polished product. Recently, it also got a bump in power with its 2021 update, further establishing its dominance in the segment.
