Tata Nexon EV

Features: In terms of features, it gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, connected car tech, automatic climate control, keyless entry with push button start, ventilated front seats, a 9-speaker JBL sound system, a wireless phone charger and cruise control. Safety is taken care of by six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, ISOFIX child-seat mounts, hill hold control, a 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake with auto hold and hill descent control.

Motor: The Nexon EV is available with two battery pack options: 45 kWh and a 30 kWh battery pack (Medium Range). The first one is paired with a 145 PS/ 215 Nm e-motor, while the smallest battery pack is mated to an e-motor which makes 129 PS and 215 Nm. The Nexon EV offers a claimed range of up to 489 km depending on the powertrain you choose. The quickest charging time is offered with the largest battery pack which can be topped up from 10 to 80 percent in just 40 minutes using a 60 kW fast charger. In terms of dimensions, it measures 3994 mm in length, 1811 mm in width and 1616 mm in height. It sits on a 2498 mm long wheelbase.

Rivals: The Tata Nexon EV directly rivals the MG Windsor EV, the Mahindra XUV400 and some variants of the Tata Curvv EV.

Range: The Tata Nexon EV can go upto 465 Km after a full charge.

Charging Time: The Tata Nexon EV long range battery takes 15 hours to get charged via a regular charger. A DC fast charger can replenish its battery from 10-80% in 56 minutes.

Variants: The Tata Nexon EV comes in three main variants called the Creative, Fearless and Empowered. They further branch out to different variants with additional features. It is now also available in a Red Dark edition. It is available in seven colour options: Daytona Grey, Pristine White, Flame Red, Creative Ocean, Fearless Purple, Empowered Oxide and Onyx Black.
