Mahindra XUV400 EV Latest Updates
Mahindra has updated the XUV400 EV by introducing new PRO variants with additional features and changes to the cabin design. Inside, the updated XUV400 gets a larger 10.25-inch infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. The interior also gets a dual-tone black/beige colour theme, while on the exterior a new Nebula Blue colour shade has been added. Prices for the updated XUV400 start from Rs 15.49 lakh, but these are introductory prices valid till May 31, 2024. There are no changes to the powertrain specifications and deliveries will start from February 1.
Features of Mahindra XUV400 EV : The 2024 XUV400 comes equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, connected car technology, dual-zone climate control, a 6-speaker sound system, wireless phone charging a single-pane electric sunroof, and keyless entry with push-button start. Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and electronic stability control.
Mahindra XUV400 EV Engine : It is offered with a 150 PS/310 Nm electric motor, coupled with either a 34.5 kWh or a 39.5 kWh battery pack. The former claims a range of 375 km, while the latter offers a claimed range of 456 km. The EL PRO trim provides the option of either a 3.3 kW charger or a 7.2 kW charger, while the EC PRO trim comes only with a 3.3 kW charger as standard. It accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 8.3 seconds. It measures 4200 mm in length, 1821 mm in width, 1634 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2600 mm.
Mahindra XUV400 EV Rivals : It rivals the Tata Nexon EV while being an affordable alternative to the MG ZS EV.
Mahindra XUV400 EV Range : XUV400 EV can go upto 375 - 456 km/charge after a full charge.
Mahindra XUV400 EV Variants : It is offered in two broad trims EC PRO, and EL PRO. EL PRO can further be had with either a 34.5 kWh battery pack or 39.5 kWh battery pack option, while the EC PRO is limited to the smaller one.

The XUV400 is a head-turner for sure. It has Stylish design and a roomy interior with ample legroom and headroom for everyone. You won't feel cramped even in the back seat. The ride quality is smooth and comfortable, especially in the city, thanks to the soft suspension, it makes a pleasant driving experience. The electric motor offers good pick-up and zippy acceleration. Mahindra has range of 456 km, but real-world mileage can be lower, around 300-350 km
