Tata Punch EV Overview

The Tata Punch EV is now available at a starting price of Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) with Tata Motors introducing its ‘Festival of Cars’ offers, which are applicable until 31 October 2024. The micro-SUV has got price reduction of up to Rs 1.2 lakh and free charging for 6 months. Besides being the safest car to be tested by Bharat NCAP, the Punch EV along with its ICE sibling has also been Tata’s best-selling nameplate lately.

The Tata Punch EV is the first electric micro-SUV from Tata Motors, built on the EV-specific Acti.ev platform. Launched in 2024, it comes with two battery pack options, offering a modern design, premium features, and impressive performance.

Tata Punch EV Key Highlights

Features: The Tata Punch EV is loaded with features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger, a single-pane sunroof and LED projector headlights. Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, an electronic parking brake with auto hold function, and a 360-degree camera with front and rear parking sensors.

Motor: The Tata Punch EV gets two battery pack options: 25 kWh (Medium Range) and 35 kWh (Long Range). With the 25 kWh battery pack, the Punch EV’s e-motor produces 82 PS and 114 Nm and gets a claimed range of 315 km. The larger 35 kWh battery pack is paired to a motor that generates 122 PS and 190 Nm with a claimed range of 421 km. It goes from 10 percent to 80 percent charge in 56 minutes with a 50 kW DC fast charger. It measures 3857 mm in length, 1742 mm in width, 1633 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2445 mm.

Rivals: The Tata Punch EV rivals the Citroen eC3 while being an alternative to the Tata Tigor EV and the Tata Tiago EV.

Range: Punch EV can go upto 315 - 421 km/charge after a full charge.

Variants: The Tata Punch EV is available in six broad trims: Smart, Smart +, Adventure, Adventure S, Empowered, and Empowered +. While the Standard Range model is available across the line, the Long Range variant is limited to the top four trims. Colour options include Pristine White, Seaweed Green, Daytona Grey, Fearless Red, and Empowered Oxide.

Price range

this is my first car ever i buy . in this price range any one can afford it . i truly like this car with its feature . all thing is better but a major issue i am facing is it time taken to charge upto 16 hour . so i have a request to Shri Ratan Tata please improve it

BETTER PRICED

tata punch EV Comes with futuristic design and as always the build quality is amazing. I have been riding this car from last 7 months and as per my experience I am happy to invest my precious money in this car. It has a good guiding range of 315-420 km on a single charge. Best thing is it gets fully charged with 3 to 4 hours. pricing is reasonable for such a feature full car.

I got to drive a Punch EV that my cousin owns lately. I'm quite impressed with this automobile. Sharp lines and a striking front grille give the outside a highly contemporary and robust appearance. Since it's a little SUV, parking in confined areas and city driving are made easy. The Punch EV is a rather cozy car within. Good support is offered by the soft seats. Families will find it perfect for trips as there is room for five people. Easy to use, the dashboard features a lovely touchscreen for navigation and audio. Smooth and very quiet thanks to the electric motor is the ride.How environmentally friendly the Punch EV is is one thing I adore about it. Not worrying about gas prices is wonderful. It might have been a little more rangey, though. I occasionally worry that on longer excursions, I'll run out of charge. Furthermore useful would be a bit extra boot capacity, particularly for long-distance road journeys with a lot of bags. I genuinely like driving my cousin's Punch EV overall. Although the automobile is excellent for short trips and daily driving, a longer range would improve it even more.
