About Hero
Latest Update on Hero Bikes
At Hero World 2024, Hero launched the all-new Hero Xtreme 125R, a direct rival to the TVS Raider 125 and also unveiled the all-new Hero Mavrick 440. The Mavrick 440 is based on the Harley-Davidson X440’s platform. In 2023, Hero MotoCorp revived the iconic nameplate, Karizma, in the form of the Hero Karizma XMR. Also launched was the Harley-Davidson X440, developed in partnership with Hero Bikes. The X440 is the most affordable Harley-Davidson bike on sale. Apart from that, in 2023, Hero showcased its two new scooter offerings, the Hero Xoom 160 maxi-scooter and the Hero Xoom 125R. These two scooters were also showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024. Currently, the company is working on a bigger XPulse based on the X440’s platform and it has been spotted testing. Also spotted testing are the upcoming Hero Xpulse 210 and the Xtreme 210 and after looking at the spy shots, it looks like the Karizma XMR’s liquid-cooled engine will be powering those motorcycles.
Origin
Hero MotoCorp, formerly known as Hero Honda, is an Indian motorcycle and scooter manufacturer that has been in operation since 1984. The company was formed as a joint venture between Hero Cycles, one of India's largest bicycle manufacturers, and Honda Motor Company of Japan.
The partnership between Hero Cycles and Honda Motor Company was a major success, with the two companies quickly becoming the largest motorcycle manufacturers in India. The joint venture resulted in the formation of Hero Honda Motors Limited, with Hero Cycles owning a majority stake in the company.
In the years that followed, Hero Honda Motors Limited became known for producing some of the most popular motorcycles in India, including the CD 100, Splendor, and Passion. These motorcycles were known for their reliability, affordability, and fuel efficiency, and quickly became bestsellers in the Indian market.
In 2010, after nearly three decades of partnership, Hero Cycles and Honda Motor Company decided to end their joint venture. The split was amicable, with both companies agreeing to continue to use the "Hero" brand name and logo for a period of time.
After the split, Hero MotoCorp continued to manufacture and sell motorcycles and scooters under the Hero brand. Today, Hero MotoCorp is the largest two-wheeler manufacturer in India, with a market share of over 35%. Hero also collaborated with Speedbrain to develop a rally bike and compete in the Dakar Rally, the world’s most gruelling off-road race.
Production facilities/Dealership Network
Hero MotoCorp currently has five manufacturing facilities in India based at Dharuhera, Gurugram, Neemrana, Haridwar and Halol. The company also boasts the country’s most advanced R&D facility called the CIT (Centre for Innovation and Technology) outside Jaipur. The company also claims to have over 9000 customer touchpoints across India.

Splendor Plus42735 reviewsHero Splendor Plus Review
This is good nice bike for the middle class person because it's mileage is good it's about 60-70/kmpl. And maintenance is also very low.I bought this bike in 2008 and it's still running great now. Only i have done some engine work this year. It's a rough and tough bike is able to ride in fields also. I have driven in my farm also without any problem i absorbs all the shocks with suspension. if you having splendor really you don't worry about maintenance simply change engine oil(use 10w30 grade)shell or motul and general service its enough.Engine:splendor very useful for daily commuting peoples and less maintenance and nearly 8 bhp power enough for city

Splendor Plus XTEC4.4171 reviewsGreat bike with heavy duty
It is very good bike created from hero for regular use.I can mostly this is preferred by village people due to low cost and great mileage and service center available at every small city and it is very common bike in India so anyone can also try to fix the issue. By the way it is rough tough so can't say like it requires maintenance regularly but ya if any issue will come then it's parts is available at every small city.It is comfortable thanks to great sockup and suspension. Also tank is flat do many people use that as luggage handler. Only problem which we feel is the size of seat is very less and as we know indian family who have childrens so it is quite difficult to take children with wife. But overall it is very good bike with good build quality, pickup and performance is also good.Overall best for small family
