Toyota Innova Hycross

Toyota has launched the Innova Hycross Exclusive Edition at Rs 32.58 lakh (ex-showroom). The special edition is based on the ZX (O) variant of the hybrid powertrain and comes with cosmetic enhancements and some extra features including a wireless phone charger and an air purifier.

Features: The Innova Hycross gets essential features like LED headlights with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 7-inch digital driver’s display, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front row seats, an 8-way powered driver seat with memory function, Ottoman rear seats (6-seater only), panoramic sunroof and 9-speaker JBL sound system. The safety suite of Innova Hycross features six airbags, ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, hill start assist, ADAS, electronic parking brake with auto hold as well as front and rear parking sensors with a rearview camera.

Engine: The Toyota Innova gets a choice of two engine options. The first one is a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that delivers an output of 173 PS and 209 Nm. The second option is a 2.0-litre strong-hybrid powertrain that delivers a combined output of 186 PS and 206 Nm. Both engines drive the front wheels via a CVT. The MPV has a claimed fuel efficiency of up to 23.24 kmpl. It measures 4755 mm in length, 1850 mm in width, 1790 mm in height and sits on a wheelbase of 2850 mm.

Rivals: The Innova Hycross takes on the Toyota Innova Crysta, Kia Carens, Mahindra Marazzo as a slightly premium alternative. It will also face competition from the upcoming Kia Carnival.

Variants: The Innova Hycross comes in seven broad trims: G-SLF, GX, GX(O), VX, VX(O), ZX and ZX(O). It is available in seven different colours: Blackish Ageha, Platinum White Pearl, Sparkling Black Pearl, Silver Metallic, Avantgarde Bronze Metallic, Attitude Black Mica and Super White.
