Almost immediately after introducing a new Metallic Red shade, Yamaha has now hiked the price of the YZF-R15 V3. It is to be noted that the baby sportbike had already become dearer in March 2021. This time around, its three colours -- Thunder Grey, Racing Blue, and Dark Knight -- have received a uniform price hike of Rs 1,500. Refer to the table below for the revised ex-showroom prices:

The Metallic Red shade is the newest entree, and has been spared the price hike this time, making it on par with the Thunder Grey shade.
There is no other change to justify the increased asking price. The bike features a full-LED headlamp, a digital instrument cluster, slipper clutch, and dual-channel ABS. Powering the bike is a 155cc single-cylinder motor with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA), generating class-leading 18.6PS and 14.1Nm.
Now that we are in the new financial year, more price hikes on Yamaha models are expected to follow. Keep watching this space for all the updates.
