About Tata

Part of the gigantic Tata group founded by Jamsetji Tata in 1868, Tata Motors is one of the leading Indian car manufacturers. Tata launched the Tata Indica in 1998; its first passenger car in India, which paved the way for the future models to come. Tata (Telco back then) was also responsible for bringing the three-pointed star (Mercedes-Benz) to India in 1995.

Product portfolio

Hatchback: Tata’s hatchbacks’ portfolio ranges from the Tiago to the Altroz.

EV: Tata ventured into the personal EV space with the Nexon EV which was then followed by the Tigor EV.

Mid-size SUV: With underpinnings derived from the Land Rover division, Tata offers the Tata Harrier and the Tata Safari as competitors to the mid-size 5-seater SUV segment and three-row SUV space, respectively.

Sedan: Successor to the Tata Zest, Tata Tigor is a sub-4 metre sedan offered by Tata which rivals the Hyundai Aura, Maruti Dzire, and Honda Amaze.

Tata’s top products in India have been:

Tata Safari: First made-in-India 4WD SUV, popular for its bold looks and off-road capabilities.

Tata Nano: At the time of launch, the Tata Nano was priced at Rs 1 lakh, making it the most affordable production car in the world.

Tata Indigo: A value for money proposition, Tata Indigo was one of the highest selling cars for Tata.

Tata Indica: India’s first fully indegenous vehicle, it ticked all the boxes for a hatchback at the time. It was also the most affordable diesel powered vehicle when it was launched in 1998

Tata Sumo: A rugged utility vehicle, Tata Sumo was the go-to car capable of taking on rural territories with ease.

Future Plans

Tata has shown great zeal towards electrification of its portfolio, as it’s the only brand with two electric vehicles available in the market at the moment. Tata Motors plans to have 10 EVs in its portfolio by 2025, which will include the Altroz EV and the Punch EV.

I now invariably take for the Tata Punch CNG when I want a strong and environmentally friendly driving experience. Altroz Sets the Benchmark for Modern Design

The satiny face and dynamic interpretation of the Tata Altroz have won me over as an key feature of fustiness and rigidity. Every ride is usefuland thrilling because to its responsive running and important engine, and all passengers will detect their car performance accessible and affable thanks to the ample cabin and ready to use installations. This engine completely satisfies my reason for both coincidental and rigidity because to its slice bite features and prideful technology, which also extend a touch of release and practicality. Setting new marks for what a real hatchback can do in tours of both appearance and mileage, the Tata Altroz has truly come to represent fustiness and rigidity.

    Electric Elegance Tata Tigor EV

With the Tata Tigor EV, I now have a entire new understanding of electric interpretation and fineness in the auto. Every drive is a luxury and important experience thanks to its lean appearance and strong electric engine, and its slice bite features and sophisticated technology guarantee a smooth and operative interpretation on every fiefdom. An redundant place of luxury is handed by the big upholstery and high end installations, making every ride — whether it's a long distance drive or a diurnal commute — comfortable and thrilling. The Tata Tigor EV has actually surfaced as the key feature of electric fineness and interpretation, reconsidering the possibilities for the aesthetic and ultrapractical rates of a genuine electric agent.

Both the cars are good in their forte. The Tata Altroz fits right into the mix of premium hatchbacks. But because it does not deliver a step-up or wow experience over its rivals, it fails to set a new standard in the segment. The diesel does feel like a versatile unit and delivers a good drive on both highways and in the city. The long feature list is the practicality of the cabin with loads of storage and a good fit and finish. The balance of the Alpha Apc platform too raises the bar on comfort and handling in the segment. And finally, the looks, which definitely set a new standard in the segment. On the other hand, the new Baleno is still a safe and sensible choice. Now with the design changes, feature additions, and improved drive, it has become more desirable too. Some things could have been better though. Maruti Suzuki should have improved the seating comfort, given it a more powerful petrol engine option, and made more significant changes to the exterior to help it look like a brand-new car. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city and brand for dealership details.

The Tiago NRG uses the same 86PS/113Nm 1.2-litre petrol motor as the standard Tiago. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT gearbox. The CNG powertrain’s output is reduced to 73PS and 95Nm when it is run on the cleaner gas. It is 3,802mm long, 1,677mm wide, and 1,537mm tall with a 2,400mm wheelbase.
