Hero Xoom 160

Hero MotoCorp recently held a post-earnings investors call in which they announced a launch timeline of their upcoming scooters, including the Xoom 160 and Xoom 125R.

The Hero Xoom 160 was unveiled at EICMA 2023. It gets an all-new 156cc, liquid-cooled engine with silent starter and start-stop function, dual chamber LED headlight, split LED tail lights, 14-inch wheels with MRF Kurve block-pattern tyres and keyless ignition feature with smart key. The scooter also gets a large windscreen, generous underseat storage with remote boot opening as well. Other notable aspects include a telescopic fork, twin rear shock absorbers, and disc brake at both ends with ABS.

It is expected to be launched at a price tag of Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). It will rival the Yamaha Aerox 155 and the Aprilia SXR160.

The Hero Xoom 160 could be launched early next year. It will be Hero’s first scooter with a liquid-cooled engine, and will be also India’s first adventure maxi-scooter.
