Suzuki Access 125 Engine

Access 125 is put to work by a single-cylinder, 124cc, air-cooled engine, which works in conjunction with a CVT transmission. It churns out 8.7PS and 10Nm, and the motor draws fuel from a 5 litre petrol tank. Suspension duties on this scooter are handled by a telescopic front fork and swingarm-mounted dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is looked after via disc or drum unit up front and a drum unit at the rear, with CBS coming as standard. It rolls on 12 inch front and 10 inch rear wheels, which are wrapped in 90-section tubeless tyres. The scooter has a seat height of 773mm, along with 160mm ground clearance. The Alloy Disc and Alloy Drum variants of this scooter weigh 103kg, with the Steel Drum variant weighing 104kg (both kerb).

Suzuki Access 125 Variants

Suzuki offers the Access 125 in three variants: Access 125 Standard, Access 125 Special Edition and Access 125 Ride Connect Edition. The Standard edition comes in four colours, which are Metallic Matte Platinum Silver No. 2, Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Dark Greenish Blue and Metallic Matte Black. The Access Special Edition is offered in four colours as well, which are Metallic Dark Greenish Blue, Solid Ice Green/Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Matte Black and Pearl Mirage White. The flagship Ride connect of this scooter is offered in five colours, namely Solid Ice Green/Pearl Mirage White, Gloss Grey, Metallic Royal Bronze, Metallic Matte Black and Pearl Mirage White. While most of the features are common across all the variants, the Ride Connect Edition comes with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation whereas the Special Edition gets cosmetic enhancements.

Suzuki Access 125 Design

Suzuki Access 125 has a very conservative and gender-neutral design. The circular LED headlight unit is surrounded by chrome bezels. The front LED position lights are placed neatly below the blinkers. The scooter’s rear comes with a large single-piece grab rail, with its external fuel filler cap placed right below it. Adding to the premiumness of this scooter is its chrome exhaust heat shield. Also, while the Standard variant of this scooter comes with black mirrors, its Special Edition and Ride Connect Edition both get chrome mirrors, further enhancing their look and feel.

Key Features of Suzuki Access 125

The Suzuki Access 125 comes with an analogue speedometer, with a digital inset which displays odometer/trip-meter readings and fuel level. There’s also an Eco Assist prompt next to the speedometer, which illuminates as per the riding style. Another notable feature is the LED headlamp, which is standard across all variants. The scooter also comes with the Suzuki Easy Start System, which is a single-touch starter button. For added practicality, there’s an apron-mounted cubby hole that is capable of holding a half-litre water bottle, and there’s an optional USB charger right next to it. The Ride Connect Edition comes with Bluetooth connectivity, providing turn-by-turn navigation, Call alert with Caller ID, SMS/WhatsApp alerts, along with phone battery level. The under-seat storage stands at 21.8 litres and for better convenience, it comes with an external fuel filler instead of a conventional underseat fuel filler cap.
