The Austrian manufacturer is likely to increase prices of its bikes by around Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000!
According to our dealer sources, KTM will soon increase prices of its motorcycles by around Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000. Yes, even the baby 125 Duke will get a significant price hike! So, just to give you a perspective on how much more you’ll need to shell out for the BS6 models, take a look at the current price list below.

For now, only the 390 Adventure is BS6-compliant, which means that the 390 Duke and the RC 390 will be updated with the new motor soon. Moreover, while the 390 ADV is equipped with some segment-first features like traction control and cornering ABS, it is highly unlikely that KTM will trickle down these features to the rest of its 390cc range. However, the next-gen RC 390 and the 390 Duke are already in the works, so we can expect KTM to offer these features in the new motorcycles.
However, the 125cc motorcycles in KTM’s lineup will be hit the most. As it is both motorcycles are very expensive in their respective segment (the RC 125 is priced at Rs 1.48 lakh and the 125 Duke retails at Rs 1.32 lakh) and by adding another Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000, these motorcycles will be more expensive than the Yamaha FZ25 and the Suzuki Gixxer 250! Expect the BS6-compliant motorcycles to be launched by end of this year or by early next year.
So, if you are planning to add a KTM to your garage, then going with the BS4 variant might be the right choice for you.
