KTM 390 Adventure FAQs
390 Adventure Key Highlights
Price: The 350cc KTM 390 Adventure is priced at Rs 2,80,905 (ex-showroom, Delhi), positioned as a more accessible option under the revised GST norms, while the 399cc variants continue to be on sale at a higher price.
Design: In terms of design, the 390 Adventure remains unchanged, continuing with its rugged ADV styling, tall stance, beak-style front fender, and touring-focused ergonomics. It is available in Electronic Orange and Ceramic White colour options, shared with the 399cc 390 Adventure S, along with alloy wheels from the 399cc 390 Adventure X.
Features: The 390 Adventure comes equipped with a 5-inch TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, SMS/call alerts, and ride data. It also gets Street, Rain and Off-road ride modes, along with switchable traction control, cornering dual-channel ABS (switchable), and a bidirectional quickshifter.
Engine: The 390 Adventure is now powered by a 349cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, producing 41.5PS at 8,600rpm and 33.5Nm at 7,000rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. Compared to the 399cc version, this is 4.5PS and 5.5Nm less, with the new tuning aimed at offering similar performance and better rideability, along with slightly improved efficiency.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The 390 Adventure is built on a trellis frame and gets long-travel WP suspension at both ends (200mm & 205mm wheel travel at the front and back). It rides on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup with dual-purpose tyres, and gets a 320mm front and 240mm rear disc brake setup, making it suitable for both touring and off-road riding.
Rivals: The 390 Adventure rivals bikes like the TVS Apache RTX300, Yezdi Adventure, and the Kawasaki Versys-X 300. Another trail-friendly alternative would be the Triumph Scrambler 400 X.
