Baby Ninja Is Now Greener Than Ever With OBD 2 Compliance & Bright New Shades

With the new colours, it looks closer to the Ninja 400, and the ZX-10R than ever!

How green can you be? Well, Kawasaki has the answer to that, and it is REALLY green. The Baby Ninja, Kawasaki Ninja 300, has been updated for 2023 and gets a cleaner engine and brand new shades. It is now priced at Rs 3,43,000 (ex-showroom) and is Rs 3,000 more expensive than the previous model.

The Baby Ninja 300 gets a brand new Metallic Moondust Grey colour scheme and heavily updated Lime Green and Candy Lime Green shades. The updated colour schemes are now more vibrant and greener than what was on offer earlier, complemented by sporty graphics. Now the Lime Green shade looks pretty similar to the Ninja 400, as well as the Ninja ZX-10R. The Grey shade, on the other hand, is pretty snazzy and fresh for a Kawasaki bike.

Additionally, the bike is now compliant with the BS6.2 emission norms and also gets a second generation of onboard diagnostics system. Apart from that, the 296cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine is unchanged and makes the same 39PS and 26.1Nm.

Rest of the bike remains the same including the telescopic fork and monoshock suspension setup, along with the disc brakes at both ends.

Lastly, we would have really appreciated some significant update to the baby Ninja, as it has been  long overdue. Something like LED headlights and a TFT console would have been appreciated too, as the current model is way too long in the tooth. It rivals the likes of KTM RC 390, BMW G 310 RR, Keeway K300 R and the TVS Apache RR 310.
