Updated Bajaj Pulsar NS160 Spotted Testing

The upcoming bike gets a new switchgear design and will get a new instrument console as well

The Bajaj Pulsar NS160 will likely get an update soon as it has been spotted testing.

From the spied images, we can see that it gets a revised switchgear design with a hazard light switch on the left side of the handlebar, suggesting the upcoming bike will get hazard lights which will be a first for the Pulsar range. It is likely to get an LCD instrument console but if we are lucky, a TFT instrument console could be a possibility. This will make it the first bike in its segment to get one, if that turns out to be true.

Apart from that, like we mentioned in our exclusive story, the updated Bajaj Pulsar NS160 might come with connectivity features too, courtesy of "Bajaj Ride Connect". Other changes we suspect it’ll get are a new LED headlight design (LED) with a redesigned cowl and LED indicators.

The rest of the bike will remain unchanged and it will be powered by the same 160.3cc, single-cylinder, air-/oil-cooled engine producing 17.2PS and 14.6Nm. The changes in the updated Bajaj Pulsar NS160 could come at a premium of around Rs 6,000 over the current bike’s Rs 1,36,736 (ex-showroom New Delhi) price tag. It is likely to launch in the coming months and will continue to rival the Suzuki Gixxer, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Yamaha FZ-S Fi V4 and the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V.
