In my opinion u should spend some more bucks and go for cbr250 ... I too have it and drove around 32000 kms... Honda has most reliable engine... And it's kind of sports tourer bike... It never betrayed me in long drive but u have to do periodical maintenance seriously... KTM is also there in market but it's a new company and has many defects... CBR sales have gone down... But if u want a reliable bike then u can go for CBR 250r ... And u know Japanese make quality products... And if u want to go for Yamaha bikes... Then u should go for r15 .. it has got everything u need but for long drives it's sitting position is not comfortable... Hope this helps u...

  • Q. Planning to upgrade from 150cc bike to 250cc. Confused between KTM Duke 250 ABS model and CBR 250 ABS model. I would be travelling around 35km daily within city. Need a decent mileage good looks and nice comfort for both rider and pillion. Which bike would be ideal?

For pillion comfort - CBR250RABS is the King. Depending on your riding style, KTM is more of a agressive street bike, while CBR is a sports Tourer. KTM has aggressive geometry and acceleration, CBR has very smooth highway performance and stability. Both are very good bikes but DIFFERENT in riding styles and orientation.Take a good test ride and decide.

CBR is your answer. Have been riding CBR for more than 5 years now and it is very comfortable for rider and pillion as well. KTM is not comfortable for pillion riders. Also, the CBR has a better fuel efficiency (33-35) than KTM (30).

  • Q. Does this bike has distance to empty meter? Is it show the kms ? As I only see the fuel indicator meter in dashboard.
    Soumo
    Soumo | 8 months ago

Fuel indicator has the last stick blinking when fuel is low. You can approximately calculate how much each stick consumes and with experience you will be able to get a good idea of Km to empty. However with all FI engines, never let the fuel go too low - it could damage the pump. Fill up when you have 2-3 sticks on the indicator. Take care of your bike and enjoy it for a long time.

  • Q. I am planning to buy Honda CBR 250 R in couple of months. I am absolutely confused between the standard and ABS version by looking at the price point (On road-price for Std - 2.04 L and ABS - 2.40 L in Bengaluru) . Can someone please help me with the final call? Can I consider buying this bike from other state, where the road tax is quite low and transport the bike to Bangalore for regular/daily use ? Thank you.

Excellent question to be asked first of all.. See consider this dont think about the cost think about what u r getting for the additional penny. Those are no cheap abs units or setups cbr250r comes with nissin abs braking system, If you ask me they are highly effective and almost arguably one of the best combi abs units on a bike so far compared to all others in Indian market. Now think abt the cost after you purchase the maintenance cost like say for example the cost of the brake pads and the disk is significantly higher than the bybre std brakes which comes in the std model. Well not thaat much which will put a hole in ur pocket though.. If u have money and if u want better brakes go for ABS model. Again comparing ABS and STD model.. Bybre regular brakes is nowhere near NISSIN combi abs system. πŸ˜ƒβœŒοΈ

  • Q. How is this bike - CBR250R?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 1 year ago

Honda CBR250R is powered by a 249.60cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine that can produce a max power of 26.5PS @ 8500rpm and a peak torque of 22.9Nm @ 7000rpm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It comes with optional dual-channel ABS, new graphics, updated styling, and cavailable in 4 color schemes i.e. Matte Axis Gray Metallic with Mars Orange, Sports Red, Matte Axis Gray Metallic with Striking Green and Pearl Sports Yellow. Priced in the range of Rs. 1.64 - 1.94 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi), it is packed with features like LED headlamp, sporty cowl, racing muffler, split seat, and grab rail. Topping the list of features is a futuristic digital console that includes an odometer, clock, fuel gauge, ABS light and service reminder. The Honda CBR250R is now Rs 13,000 costlier than the earlier STD version and Rs 16,000 costlier than the earlier ABS variant. With just the addition of LED lights as the only major change, the hike in prices is not really justified. Add to that the lack of power and torque in comparison to its closest competitor the Apache RR 310, which is a lot more potent. Be it the track, highways or running around in the urban jungle. The CBR250R is otherwise a fair bet to opt for, offering enough pep to keep you thrilled. It’s also got commendable highway and city cruising dynamics, which should make it a good everyday motorcycle. Especially with the more relaxed ergonomics, unlike the KTM RC 200.

CBR is one of the best bike in 250cc. My first bike was KTM RC 200. I had buyed that in 2017. I was looking for CBR 250 at that time but there is no production. That's wh y i go for RC 200. Now the production has started and i sold my RC and buyed the all new CBR 250. It is the best sports tourer. But in spec wise Honda have to bring more things like gear indication , side stand indication , fuel range etc... Nissin's ABS dual channel braking is awesome.
