The Apache RTR 310 is TVS' flagship roadster bike. It's built on the same chassis and engine platform as the Apache RR310. It offers plenty of performance, and is packed with features that you don't even find on larger capacity bikes.
TVS Apache RTR 310 Key Highlights
Price: The TVS Apache RTR 310 is available in 2 colour options: Arsenal Black and Fury Yellow. Here are the colour-wise prices: Arsenal Black (without quickshifter) - Rs 2,49,990, Arsenal Black - Rs 2,67,000 and Fury Yellow - Rs 2,72,000 (all ex-showroom).
Design: The TVS Apache RTR 310 has a very aggressive design language all over. It has all-LED lighting with a twin-LED headlight setup and taillights designed to look like two vertical LED strips.
Features: The all-new 310cc streetfighter comes packed with features. It has 5 riding modes - Track, Urban, Rain, Sport and Supermoto along with cruise control, cornering ABS, cornering traction control, cornering cruise control, rear lift off control, slope dependent control and front lift-off control. It gets a 5-inch TFT instrument console with connectivity options for your smartphone, helmet communication device and GoPro. It also gets music control, voice assist, incoming call alerts, SMS alerts, ability to store up to 3 documents like a registration certificate and driving licence and turn-by-turn navigation with What3words. The bike also gets climate-controlled seats (both heating and cooling). The TVS Apache RTR 310 gets three customisable kit options: Dynamic Kit, Dynamic Pro Kit and Colour Kit. The Dynamic Kit costs Rs 18,000 and includes adjustable front and rear suspension, tyre pressure monitoring system and brass coated chain. The Dynamic Pro Kit costs Rs 22,000 and includes Race Tuned Dynamic Stability Control, cornering ABS, cornering traction control, wheelie control, slope dependent control, rear lift off control, cornering cruise control and climate controlled seat. The Colour Kit costs Rs 10,000 and includes the Sepang Blue colour option. The blue, white and red colour option is inspired by TVS’ 40 year racing heritage.
Engine: The new streetfighter from TVS is powered by a 312.7cc, reverse-inclined, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 35.6PS at 9,7000rpm and 28.7Nm at 6,650rpm. It comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox with bi-directional quickshifter and slipper and assist clutch. In Sport, Track and Supermoto mode, the engine produces 35.6PS and 28.7Nm while in Urban and Rain mode, it produces 27.1PS and 27.3Nm. The streetfighter has a top speed of 150kmph, accelerates from 0-60kmph in 2.81 seconds and accelerates from 0-100kmph in 7.19 seconds. The RTR 310 has a trellis frame with an aluminium subframe and forged aluminium die-cast swingarm. Suspension duties are taken care of by a fully-adjustable 41mm upside-down (USD) fork and a rebound and preload adjustable monoshock. Braking duties are taken care of by 300mm front and 240mm rear petal disc brakes with dual-channel ABS as standard. It has a wheelbase of 1,385mm, ground clearance of 180mm, seat height of 800mm, kerb weight of 169kg and fuel tank capacity of 11 litres.
