Design: With its mean looks, the S 1000 RR comes with a completely redesigned front end, having a bubble visor and winglets for better high-speed control. It gets an aggressive riding posture with its low-set clip-ons and rear-set footpegs (adjustable as an accessory). The bike has a flowing aerodynamic body and comes with a beefy tank. The flagship S 1000 RR Pro M Sport variant is a single-seater with the rear cowl having a camera adapter with the Standard and Pro models getting the same as an option. The bike has a sharp rear end with a detachable number plate holder.

Features: The S 1000 RR is a performance-oriented motorcycle that comes with all-LED lighting. It gets a new 6.5-inch coloured TFT instrument console which provides a tonne of information and has multi-controller switches positioned on its left handlebar. The bike comes with standard features like ABS PRO, Shift assist Pro, M GPS Laptrigger and a lightweight battery among others. It is also the first mass-production bike to come with optional carbon fibre wheels and even gets heated grips as an option. BMW even offers a range of lightweight body parts with the flagship model, like M carbon wheels, M Sport seat, M brake calipers (blue), fuel filler cap black and M rider footrest system.

Engine: BMW S 1000 RR is powered by a liquid-cooled, in-line four, 999cc engine which produces 210PS and 113Nm. The engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox and the bike gets a Dynamic Engine Brake Control as a safety feature on all trims. The supersport has four riding modes (Rain, Road, Dynamic & Race) with optional Riding modes Pro on the upper variants. Suspension duties are handled by a 45mm USD front fork which is preload, rebound and compression adjustable, with rear monoshock getting damping adjustability as well. Braking is handled by a 320mm twin disc upfront and 220mm disc at the rear with multiple ABS modes.
