We attended the KTM Cup & here are the upgrades the track-ready RC 390 gets over the road-going version:

The stock KTM RC 390 can be made track-ready with just a few minor tweaks

The bike has the headlight’s outer shell but not the LED internals - makes it a bit lighter

Gets lever protectors to save the levers in case of a crash

The track-ready RC 390 also has a long belly pan

A small orange sprocket protector replaces the large, heavy saree guard

Passenger footpegs and grab rail removed, for weight reduction

No number plate holder or rear indicators

The track-spec RC 390 gets 110-section front & 150-section rear Ceat Sportrad tyres instead of Metzeler Sportec M5

We wish it also had a free-flow exhaust instead of the stock one, for even better performance

And of course, the bike features Ceat & Castrol sponsor stickers on either side
