TVS Jupiter Bike Latest Updates

The TVS Jupiter, produced by the renowned Hosur-based manufacturer, stands as a formidable contender in the scooter market, rivalling the ever-popular Honda Activa 6G. This scooter has earned its reputation for its efficient engine, an array of rich features, and a highly competitive price point.

TVS Jupiter Engine

At the heart of the TVS Jupiter lies a robust 109.7cc air-cooled engine, now equipped with fuel injection technology. This powerhouse generates an impressive 7.88PS of power and delivers a torque of 8.8Nm. Underneath, it boasts an underbone frame, complemented by a telescopic front fork and a three-step preload-adjustable monoshock. Rolling on 12-inch alloy wheels (steel wheels for the base variant), and fitted with tubeless tires, the Jupiter offers dependable stopping power with standard drum brakes on both wheels. A front disc brake option is available for those seeking enhanced braking performance. Despite its power, Jupiter maintains stability with a weight of 109kg, and its generous 150mm ground clearance ensures versatility for various riding conditions.

TVS Jupiter Variants

TVS Jupiter is available in six variants – Sheet Metal Wheel (Rs 73,340), Standard (Rs 77,458), ZX (Rs 82,233), ZX Drum with SmartXonnect (Rs 84,568), ZX Disc with SmartXonnect (Rs 89,088), and Classic (Rs 89,748). The ZX models sport elegant beige plastic panels and two-tone seats, while the Classic variant exudes sophistication with a tinted visor, chrome mirror caps, appealing graphics, and a comfortable pillion backrest. The ZX SmartXonnect variant takes connectivity to the next level, offering voice control, smartphone connectivity, and turn-by-turn navigation. For an in-depth look, explore further details here.

The ZX and ZX Disc variants present Starlight Blue and Royal Wine options. The ZX Disc SmartXonnect variant stands out with Matte Black and Copper Bronze shades. Finally, the top-tier Jupiter Classic variant exudes elegance in Mystic Grey and Regal Purple hues.

Key Features of TVS Jupiter

The Jupiter 110 incorporates an LED headlight and features an analogue instrument console as standard, providing essential information such as speed and fuel level, among other indicators. The ZX variants, on the other hand, feature a semi-digital instrument cluster. Notable features across the range include an external fuel filler cap, pass-light switch, and alloy wheels (excluding the Sheet Metal variant). The scooter offers a standard USB charging port on the front apron, with an optional under-seat USB port. Additionally, the Jupiter ZX disc variants feature a silent starter, aptly named iTouchStart. With a capacious 21-litre underseat storage, the Jupiter caters to practical needs. Technology enthusiasts will appreciate the ZX SmartXonnect variant, which integrates the TVS NTorq 125-derived full-LCD instrument cluster, complete with smartphone connectivity, voice control, and turn-by-turn navigation.

TVS Jupiter Pros and Cons

  • Jupiter Advantages

Offers great mileage, Ride quality is pretty good, It’s the only 110cc scooter to feature navigation.

  • Jupiter Disadvantages

Same old design, Pricier than ever.

  • Expert's Conclusion

Compared to the widely acclaimed Honda Activa, the Jupiter 110 remains a compelling choice. Although the Activa 6G offers similar features, the Jupiter holds a distinct advantage due to its integrated smartphone connectivity. Consequently, it retains its status as our top pick among 110cc family scooters available in the current market.

  • Clutch assembly

New buyers stay away from this bike! i own this scooter and within one week it started giving me problems.I have been to a service center more than 15 times but it is not the mistake of a mechanic. It's the fault of the manufacturer and engineer who designed it.I have faced issues with the automatic on-off sensor and afe average. Both issues were solved by the service center after several visits. You need to be patient while getting resolved. But hold on it doesn't stop here it has major vibration issues and you can race more than 30 as it you will feel the vibration on the seat and footrest. My suggestion would be not to buy this tvs_jupiter_125 until tvs produces an error-free bike or if you have time to visit the service center several times and if you have a trained mechanic and a good service center in your city.It has major issues of clutch assembly.Note to date i have replaced the fuel gauge, Odometer but later they updated the software to remove the error of automatic on-off and afe.

  • I purchased tvs jupiter

I purchased tvs jupiter 125cc last month 19th.After 30 days gave for 1st free service. The experience was so horrible, Never i have experienced like this. The service center name is dhira motors. After service the disc brake in the front was making an unusual noise while applying brake. The vehicle i gave in good condition and returned back to me after service in horrible manner. The beauty for scooter servicing they charge 100 rs with gst charges for purchasing waste cloth.I called tvs office in bengaluru and they said within 15 mts they will revert but its more than a day no answer from them.A big cartel is running in fleecing the purchasers of recommending quality service from authorized show rooms. Please be careful my dear friends.
