Maruti Suzuki Ignis Bookings Commence

The much awaited Maruti Suzuki Ignis is due to be launched on the 13th of this month. The bookings though have already commenced with a booking amount of Rs 11,000
Maruti Suzuki Ignis has been the talk of the town for a while now. And the micro SUV is all set to be launched in the country on the 13th of this month. Just ten days before its official launch, the bookings of the car have already commenced for an amount of Rs 11,000. Apart from the booking amount, the brochure of the Ignis has also emerged.
Getting straight to it, the Ignis will come with a choice of nine paint options. The Pearl Arctic White and Silky Silver will be available on all variants whereas the Glistening Grey is reserved for the Sigma, Delta and Zeta only. The Uptown Red and Tinsel Blue will adorn the Delta ans Zeta variants only. The Urban Blue will be featured on all variants above the Sigma. The Tinsel Blue with Midnight Black and Tinsel Blue with Arctic White will be reserved for the top two variants, the Zeta and the Alpha only.
In terms of features, the Zeta and Alpha variants will feature alloy wheels whereas the Delta variants will come with full wheel covers. The spare wheel though will be steel on all variants. The LED projector headlamps and DRLs will come with the Alpha variant only. The 7-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with the automatic climate control will also be featured in the Alpha variant only. The Delta and Zeta will make do with 2-DIN audio system. USB, Bluetooth connectivity and steering mounted controls will come as standard on all variants apart from the petrol base model (Sigma). In addition, Zeta and Alpha variants will also get push button start. ABS and EBD with dual front airbags will be standard across all variants.
It will be powered by the same 1.2-litre VVT petrol and the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine. And it will come in four main variants, the Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. The Sigma variant however will not come with the diesel engine. Both engines will be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and AMT options will be available on both petrol and diesel engines but with the Delta and Zeta variants only.
As for the price, we are yet unsure but we hope that will be priced competitively and hopefully between Rs 4.5-6.8 lakh.
