Alto Key Highlights

Features: The Alto-800 had received a facelift back in April 2019 with some styling revisions, especially at the front with an all-new grille and a redesigned bumper. Interior highlights include a 7-inch Smartplay touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety features on offer are reverse parking sensors, driver, front co-passenger airbags, speed alert system, seatbelt reminder for both front occupants, as well as ABS and EBD.

Engine: The Alto is powered by a BS6-compliant 796cc 3-cylinder petrol mill, delivering 47PS/69Nm, paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It has a fuel efficiency of 22.05kmpl.

Rivals: The Alto's alternatives are the Renault Kwid and the Datsun redi-GO in India.

Variants: The Alto-800 is now retailed in four variants: Std (O), LXi (O), VXi, and VXi+. It is available in six body shades: red, white, silver, green, grey and blue. Maruti also offers a CNG kit with the LXi trim.

Maruti Alto is very comfortable car. Alto 800 is a decent hatchback on a budget price. Sitting position is very comfortable compared to competitors in the good segment. Average is best for long route. Full of fun for driven.

The engine performance is smooth, mileage is excellent, and maintenance costs are very1affordable, which makes it a perfect choice for middle-class families and first-time car buyers.The car is1compact and easy to drive, even in heavy traffic and narrow roads. Steering is light, braking is good, and1overall handling feels safe and comfortable. Despite its small size, the interior is well designed and1sufficient for everyday needs. What I appreciate the most is Maruti’s reliability and availability of genuine1spare parts and service support. Service centers are easily accessible, and servicing is quick and economical.
