To be honest with you I have never checked on the mileage of KTM RC 200 as it would make me look dumb. It is a race track bike and you cannot expect a very good mileage from the bike and which could lead to disheartening you after purchasing such an expensive bike. I would suggest if you are looking for a mileage oriented bike, the keep KTM bikes out of your list.

If u ride at a average speed like shifting gears regularly at the right time. Then a good mileage will be expected (35-40)

  • Q. On road city exact mileage of KTM RC 200? KTM RC 200 is best or Royal Enfield classic 350 is best?

For RC 200 and re 350 both are different segment bikes. If you like cruisers and legacy you can go with re350 but if you like the adrenaline rush, like to hold tight even at high speeds on corner or want to zoom out like a bullet get RC 200.

  • Q. Which is better between Dominar 400 and RC 200 in terms of mileage and control?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 7 months ago

The Dominar 400 is a new breed of affordable performance bikes for the masses. Having said that, if you’re in the hunt for an affordable, fast and comfortable highway cruiser that performs well in the city too then the Dominar 400 definitely deserves a close look before finalising your choice. The ARAI claimed mileage is of 26.50 kmpl. On the other hand, The RC 200 has set the bar quite high for the entry-level sports bike segment. The committed ergonomics might not be everyone’s cup of tea but if you are looking for cornering dynamics with an added dose of power but are on a budget, your search ends here. Offers the ARAI claimed mileage of 35 kmpl. Moreover, the actual figures regarding mileage may differ depending upon the factors like road conditions and the riding pattern. Selection of the best pick depends upon one's choice and preference. Do take the test ride for both the bikes so that you can get a complete idea regarding the ease and comfort offered.

  • Q. What is the mileage and is there any tips to get the mileage above 30 - RC 200?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 7 months ago

The ARAI claimed mileage of KTM RC 200 is 35 kmpl. The actual mileage figure differs due to the factors like road conditions and riding pattern. In order to improve the mileage, we would suggest you to ride slower. Riding fast can reduce your fuel efficiency by up to 33% if you are travelling above 60 mph. It is best to change gears appropriately and match the gear and the RPM carefully. You have to be careful when going to the tuner. Make sure the tuning is just to keep your engine running at the proper revs to provide maximum fuel efficiency.

On road mileage for RC 200 is somewhat near 30-33kmpl. To get best mileage out of it keep the load low. Don't ride around it's peak output rpm i.e. 8000-10000 rpm often. Watch out for frequent maintenance such as tightness of chain, clean it and lube it after every 500-600km. Don't frequently and unnecessarily shift gears, use kill switch during long traffic.... hope this helps.

  • Q. How many KM will it run after going in reserve - RC 200?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 4 months ago

The Duke RC200 has a reserve of 1.5 litres. The mileage of the bike would depend on the maintenance and the continuous running off the bike at a speed under 60-80kmpl. If the mileage is calculated according to the ARAI figures then Duke RC200 can reach about 45km in the 1.5-litre fuel.

  • Q. Why the mileage is very low - RC 200?
    SANKALP
    SANKALP | 5 months ago

Well its not that low as known for the rc. My bike is 1 month old and I can tell you one thing about the mileage that it all depends on how you ride the bike. When i am rough on bike it gives me an average of 20 or below but while you are riding it perfectly that is going easy on the throttle it would give you around 40 and above. Let me tell you one thing the highest mileage i have got on my rc is 52. But that was in night with less traffic and onto the 6th gear and at a constant speed of 65-70 kmph.

The mileage of the sports bike is certainly low in comparison to the commuter bikes. As sports bikes are committed to delivering the best performance and power. If you require more power and performance than a compromise needs to be done with the mileage.

  • Q. Why RC 200 have less mileage than that of RC 390?
    Rubik
    Rubik | 12 months ago

That is a mis information. According to company RC 200 gives 30 kmpl while RC 390 gives 25 kmpl. And in real life everyday use, in a mix of high way and city driving, RC 200 gives 26-27kmpl while RC 390 gives 20-21 kmpl

  • Q. My height is 5.10 age 22 which is a better choice between Royal Enfield Classic 350 and KTM RC 200 in regard to mileage.
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 2 months ago

Royal Enfield Classic 350 would be a better option for more comfortable and mileage friendly rides. The 346cc air-cooled and carburetted single-cylinder engine churns out 20.07 PS of power and a healthy torque of 28 Nm which offers good low-end performance. Also, the bike comes equipped with dual-channel ABS, twin gas-charged shock absorbers, telescopic front fork, 280mm front and 240mm rear disc brake, etc. Moreover, we'd recommend taking a test ride of the vehicle for a better understanding of performance and comfort.
