    I bought my first splendour 

    I bought my first splendour on 03 oct 1999.I ride it for 20 years and ride it for 155k kms and the bike really done well with minimal spare parts required.The bike has original clutch and even speedometer cable.Chain set i changed it on 120k after that i shifted to honda activa.It was really a bad experience.What comfort i get on the bike is not likely to come on honda activa moreover the worst mileage, Expensive service and the activa keeps on demanding the spare parts often.Rear brake shoe, Rear wheel bearing, Lock set and so i again went to purchase new splendour.It was nice the same feeling i am getting as the reviois one.Hero maintained the quality thank you hero.

Q. Would like to know, how much long can we ride NTORQ on highway without a stop? Is it okay to go for a long trip apprx 250-300 kms. Though it is a scooter, but is it okay to go? If yes then after how many hours/kms and how much time should we need to stop to start again?
  • Good to do long rides. if you are cruizing around 70kmph, then maybe you can stop at any of the Tea Joint or Petrol Stations after every 65kms, for a 15 mins break. Check you engine & Gear oil quality & level, Drive Belt condition, Clutch Condition (basically a general checkup) and then embark on your ride. Please ensure you use TVS recommended Grade of Engine Oil (10w-30). Have been seeing in TVS Ntorq Groups in Facebook etc, guys mentioning premium brand oils of 10w-40, 20w-40 for engine and 80w-90 for gear. Using these wrong spec oils can adversly affect the engine parts.
  • Yes you can ride with the Maximum comfort...You have stop once the engine temperature gets too hot needs a Break ....Apart from this you can ride for approximately 150kms to 200kms without a break....It is safe and advisable to follow the engine temperature 🌡️ and follow the rest stops in your journey.
  • You have to stop only for refueling. Rest it depends on you how far you can drive it. It also depends on when you got you ntorq service and engine oil changed. Plus ntorq Has engine temperature indicater so when you ntorq getts really hot you will know.300 km are nothing for any scooter.

Q. For how long can Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 be continuously driven?
  • I have drove Alto 800 for more than 4 Lakhs Km. (Approx entire India). Have drove maximum upto 500 KM upto one single stretch. Avoid rash acceleration while going on longer journey, keep an eye on engine meter. Avoid getting your engine heated. Rest Alto 800 is truly a legend car.
  • More Than 300kms...Because almost every car has engine cooling system(Coolant)
  • No worry drive up to 600 km..but give some rest after 200 to 250 km
