Mahindra Mojo 300 BS6 Bike Latest Updates
Mahindra 2Wheelers has teased the Mojo 300 BS6 on its social media platforms. The bikemaker says the upcoming 300cc tourer will sport a fresh look. It is expected to launch this month and be priced between 1.75 lakh and Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Mojo BS6 will get a BS6-compliant motor. The 295cc liquid-cooled motor will receive fuel-injection and is expected to offer more performance than the BS4 Mojo UT 300's carburetted motor. For reference, that motor delivered 23PS and 25.2Nm. It is expected to retain the UT 300's conventional forks and monoshock, MRF tyres and disc brakes at both ends. The new bike will get dual-channel ABS though.
The Mahindra Mojo 300 BS6 will compete with other tourers like the Bajaj Dominar 250 and Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6.

4.6One of the best bike in the
One of the best bike in the 300 cc touring segment but which needs some features update and a huge dealership update across india.Because i made a small survey around my friends and neighbours family and all etc. That they told me is about the dealership availablity problem but they are so interested on bike and also some of major youtube channels or telling the same about the bike and their lack of dealership so i wish that mahindra has to take some steps to improve there service around india and also in all cities because we have only one showroom in chennai city which is so long from my house.Whatever i love mojo forever ☺️.

4.6Long distance
The bike the first generation in itself is worth in terms of riding comfort, Long distance, Highway runs at 130+ easily and cheap maintenance. Its a myth of people not trusting the quality of a machine and brand.Agree sales wasn't upto the mark and mahindra not hearing the cries of customers to give an upgrade other than cosmetic changes.I myself am not a fan of bs6 engine wise and cosmetic wise. The poet and nm for the first gen is mind blowing.Happy to own it still and proud owner.

4.6This beast is really costly,
This beast is really costly, Being an Indian company mahindra should have considered the amount. The bike is fantastic in riding. I got to hear services are pathetic, Well it is quite hard for me to say as it is not yet done. Well the one who was cleaning bike was worst in doing that, So it might be possible for servicing as well. Long ride is awesome. Quality of bike are premium.

- Showrooms are providing, but bit costly, almost 50K

- Selecting the right bike would depend on several factors such as your budget preference on the segment, features required, engine options, brand preference, etc. Mahindra Mojo could be a good option if you are looking for a fine tourer with premium underpinnings like upside-down forks and Pirelli tyres. The newest model gets conventional forks and MRF tyres but that does not hamper the Mojo’s touring credentials much. The riding position is upright and the seat is comfortable enough for long jaunts. Despite its oddball looks, the Mojo has proven to be a capable tourer. On the other hand, apart from its accessible price tag, the Dominar 250 does one thing right -- it is fit to purpose. The 250cc motor may feel boring on the KTM, but it works beautifully on the Dominar especially when you combine it with its comfortable touring ergonomics. It truly deserves the ‘sports tourer’ tag. So while Bajaj might pitch it as the entry-level Dominar, we think the 250 is the Dominar in its perfect form. Mahindra Mojo is powered by a 294cc Liquid Cooled, 4 Stroke, SI Engine, 1 Cylinder; DOHC engine that generates a max power of 25.72 PS @ 7300 rpm and a max torque of 25.96 Nm @ 6000 rpm. While the Bajaj Dominar 250 is equipped with a 248.77 cc Single Cylinder, 4 strokes, DOHC, 4 valve, Liquid Cooled, Twin Spark, FI that produces a max power of 27 PS @ 8500 rpm and a max torque of 23.5 Nm @ 6500 rpm. For the availability of spare parts, you have to get in touch with the authorized service center. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership.
- Mahindra has already launched the BS6 version of Mojo 300. For the availability, we would suggest you to please connect with the nearest authorized dealership in your city as it depends on their stock book. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- If we talk about Royal Enfield Meteor, its new J Platform motor is a clear step change from the UCE, making the Meteor 350 a far more well-rounded motorcycle than any of the previous 350s. It’s not just the engine, the gearbox feels more grown up too and the bike handles itself and its weight rather well. But at the same time, the Meteor isn’t breaking new ground either. RE has managed to produce a capable and commendable motorcycle but it has done so in an orthodox fashion, ironing out the biggest chinks in the Thunderbird’s armour and making small, incremental gains in the remaining areas. A plush ride and a bit more poke from the engine would’ve made the Meteor 350 a far more characterful and engaging motorcycle, the likes of which we’ve never seen from a single-cylinder RE before. On the other hand, The Mahindra Mojo is a honest attempt and does great justice to its touring dynamics nature completely. The refined motor, comfortable riding dynamics, supple ride quality and loaded parts bin makes it a great motorcycle for long-distance riding. However, Mahindra Two Wheelers doesn’t have the dealer network spread and the trust as its rival brands command. You may compare both bikes accordingly. Do take a test ride in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
- Service network is needed for RE, the bikes require a lot of service. Mojo on the other hand just require the regular service. The engine is liquid cooled with very smooth refined engine. Fuel tank is massive, power is more, tires are better. Suspension is leagues ahead of Meteor.
