The newer versions, in particular, have become more expensive now. Take a look at the price list
The new financial year has begun, and Yamaha has welcomed it with price hikes across select models of the R15 family. If you’re planning to buy the faired Yamaha bike, take a look at the latest price list:
Yamaha Bike |

Metallic Red/ Thunder Grey: Rs 1,57,600 Racing Blue: Rs 1,58,700 Dark Knight: Rs 1,59,700 |

Thankfully, the price hike isn’t hefty enough to affect the buyer’s decision. The Yamaha R15 M, in particular, is still a lot more affordable than the KTM RC 200, which retails Rs 2,08,717 (ex-showroom Delhi). Even the entry-level Yamaha R15 S V3 is a whole Rs 22,833 less expensive than its closest rival, the smaller-engined KTM RC 125. Clearly, Yamaha still has the price advantage. Moreover, there aren’t any other bikes in this segment, so Yamaha can still enjoy the monopoly.
