Yamaha has announced a new virtual launch on January 9, here’s what we think it could be...

New Yamaha Launch

Yamaha Motor India has announced an upcoming virtual launch on January 9, 2024. The Japanese manufacturer hasn’t revealed much of what they have in store for us though it has dropped a few hints in the post. 

Now, while the font might indicate that it’s an electric scooter, it’s unlikely that Yamaha would hold just a virtual launch for it. Besides, looking at the Yamaha Racing logo in the Instagram post, we expect the upcoming virtual launch to feature new colour options for Yamaha’s sporty models, which could be a bike or one of the sporty scooters. The launch may also include the addition of new features to the bike/scooter. Turn-by-turn navigation maybe? Fingers crossed! 

This virtual launch is likely going to be about one of Yamaha’s 125cc or 155cc models, as it is too early for the R3 or MT-03 to receive any update as these bikes were launched just a month back. Moreover, the launch being a virtual one cannot be anything major, such as the launch of big bikes like the R7, MT-07 or MT-09, and we expect these bikes to make a grand entry in India.
