Mahindra has achieved a sort-of milestone with the XUV700 -- it has delivered over 14,000 SUVs till January 26. This feat, despite the production constraints and semiconductor shortage, has been achieved just 12 days later than its original timeline of January 14.
Nevertheless, it’s still a long way ahead for Mahindra and its customers, as orders are still piling and waiting periods are soaring well over a year for select trims. The SUV manufacturer is using a dedicated software to provide customers with estimated delivery dates.
The XUV700 comes in the following trims: MX, AX3, AX5, and AX7. Customers picking the AX7 can opt for the Luxury Pack, which gets niceties like Sony 3D surround sound system, a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitoring, electronic parking brake, and a wireless phone charger. You can read the detailed variant-wise features with images in this story.
The XUV700 offers a choice between 2-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine, both paired with manual and automatic transmissions. Front-wheel drive is standard, while the diesel-automatic can be teamed with an optional all-wheel drive.
