The list of features further includes a powered tailgate, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging and heated outer rear-view mirrors. Safety features include up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, ADAS technology and electronic stability control.

Engine: The MG Hector gets two powertrain options: a 143PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a 170PS 2-litre diesel engine. A 6-speed manual gearbox comes as standard, while an optional CVT transmission is offered with the petrol powertrain. The MG Hector has a length of 4699mm, width of 1835mm and height of 1760mm. It has a wheelbase of 2750mm.

Rivals: The MG Hector fights it out with the Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier, Jeep Compass, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos and Mahindra XUV700 5-seater.

A beast of mid segment

MG hector has become my favourite SUV in this price range after I have taken a test drive of this car. The looks are damn good and attractive. If we talk about interior it is very spacious and gives premium feel. The material of panels is of high quality. This car gives good safety and it has 5 star NCAP rating. The mileage is just 15 kmpl. There are alot of advance features provided inside this car.

the absolute best for you

My initial automobile pick, the MG Hector, is excellent. The automobile is sleek and sophisticated. Long travels and regular commutes are comfortable due to the spacious interior. The automobile has a big touchscreen, voice controls, and a panoramic sunroof, making driving fun. The engine is strong and the vehicle handles nicely.
