The Mahindra XUV700 has been nothing short of a runaway success story. Backing that fact is the huge waiting period for the SUV, which went over the one-year mark for multiple cities on multiple occasions. And now, we’ve got a milestone to reiterate the same – one lakh deliveries in less than 20 months. It is a record for a Mahindra SUV set by none other than the XUV700.

Mahindra says the first 50,000 deliveries came within 12 months of the initial launch. The other 50,000 deliveries followed in the next 8 months. The SUV currently has a waiting period spiking up to eight months in certain cities. So there’s still definitely a strong demand for it, and Mahindra stated in an earlier investor meeting that it’ll ramp up production for even quicker delivery.
