Even The KTM 250 Adventure Gets A Low Seat Height Variant

Just like the 390 ADV, the low seat height variant of the quarter-litre ADV will come at no extra premium

KTM continues to expand its adventure lineup with the addition of yet another variant. This time, though, it is of the 250 Adventure – smaller of the KTM ADVs – which now gets a low seat height variant. As a result, we expect the seat height to go down considerably, from 855mm to 834mm.

This reduction in seat height has come purely as a result of lowered suspension. The 250 Adventure V  gets the same big-piston USD fork/monoshock setup as the 390 Adventure V, with a reduced wheel travel of 143mm/151mm (front/rear). For reference, the stock model gets 170mm (front) and 177mm (rear) of travel.

We are yet to ride the lower-seat version of the 390 Adventure, so as far as riding experience is concerned, we don’t quite know yet. However, if the suspension is a lot more pliant and easygoing over broken surfaces like the 250 Duke, then it would make for a good tourer.
