I love this model for its impressive performance. The KTM 250 Adventure is an entry-level adventure motorcycle designed for riders who want to explore . The 250 Adventure is comfortable on city streets, highways, and even off-road. Its lightweight design and long-travel suspension make it maneuverable on various terrains. The 248.8cc engine offers good power . The KTM 250 Adventure sits at a mid-range price point in the 250cc segment (around Rs. 2.45 lakh) .

bold and adventurous

Ktm 250 adventure is a bold and adventurous two wheeler model. I got it for an expensive price from a nearby showroom which i think this bike is worth the purchase. It has looks are different from that of a normal bike but the functions are more refined, suitable for adventure lovers. I have the black colour of this model which looks quite amazing. There are many colour options available.

Comfort could be a issue

KTM 250 adventure is a good sports bike with attractive looks. the fit and finishing could be more fine like 250 duke. it has a 250cc engine which is quite powerful for daily commuters. the mileage is around 35-40kmpl and the maintenance cost is moderate. the seating posture is not much comfortable as compared to other ktm bikes. the pricing is too high but it's worth it.

Great on road performance

It has one of the most smoothest single cylinder engine and the tyres gives great confidence on the rough roads and when it compare to Himalayan it gives more features, more power and is lighter than Himalayan. The price is justified the way it performs and this bike is better for on road performance and Himalayan is better for off road performance. The gearbox is totally amazing and is very comfortable and the seating position is absolutely amazing and the brakes are also decent.

KTM 250 Adventure Pros and Cons

250 Adventure Positives Points: One of the smoothest KTM single-cylinder engines on sale. 19-/17-inch wheel setup gives better confidence when going over rough roads.

250 Adventure Negatives Points: It is pricey. Lacks LED headlight and TFT screen. No change in engine tune from Duke sibling.

250cc engine

4.2

Comes with heritage of 250cc engine of duke 250, The ktm 250 adventure is truly a experience to have both off-road and on-road let's start with the trellis frame, Which is clearly inspired from dakar bikes is on the bigger side compared to other bikes in this category.Which can be good for taller riders and shorter riders might take some time to be comfortable with. The engine, Is a liquid cooled 250cc six speed short stroke engine which kicks in its power after 4000-5000 rpm. This might be a trouble in off-road trails for rookies but once acclimatized you will be all ready to go.The power output is around 30ps at 9000 rpm and max torque is 24nm at 7500 rpm.Hard off-roading is not adviced with ktm adventure 250 as it comes with alloy wheels and suspension which is on the stiffer side compared to its competitors like xpulse and himalayan but you can have your bit of fun.On indian highways, This bike has more than to offer. Can comfortably cruise in 100-110km/hr without any vibes and seats are also very comfortable.Lcd display and off-road abs are other electronic features and it lacks traction control. You will probably have to change the chain and sprocket on your third service or 15k kms as ktm advs are on the lesser end of sprocket and chain life. You can do your bit of cornering on this bike but hard corners are better if avoided as it's a adventure bike and not sports bike.

Overall Good Bike

441946Exceptional suspension travel and comfort. Abundance of touring accessories and aftermarket modifications readily available in the market. Good mileage, ranging from 30 kmpl to 38 kmpl, depending on road conditions and riding style. A robust power output of 30 bhp and 24 Nm of torque from a 250cc engine, is more than sufficient for maintaining comfortable speeds of 90-100 kmph throughout the day. Liquid-cooled engine and a smooth 6-speed gearbox that excels in highway cruising. Comfortable seating posture. A premium feel to the overall build. Imparts a substantial, big-bike feel with its looks. Cons: The chain sprocket necessitates regular maintenance, typically after every 300 km. Upgrading to a Rolon brass-coated chain sprocket is recommended. The stock halogen headlight is ineffective, and an upgrade to high-quality auxiliary lamps or a Nighteye LED headlight is necessary. The seat height, at 855mm, is relatively tall. The front headlight cover can produce some irritating noises, a problem also observed in the ADV390. The rear suspension may require adjustments for enhanced comfort. The stock windshield fails to shield the rider from windblast effectively, prompting the purchase of an aftermarket windshield. Conclusion: If you're in the market for a premium adventure bike priced under 3 lakh, offering a plethora of accessories, good mileage, impressive performance, and ample luggage space, then the KTM Adventure 250 is the ideal choice.

Drivers mind

The engine that understands a driver's mind.Instantaneously.That's what i love the most.Ideal for drivers taller than 5ft 6inch.It revs into the desired power at a strike of a twist, Especially the 3rd gear. The tall stance sitting position makes the driver one notch above your co-drivers.The digital instrument is indeed a visual stimulus to rev up the desired power and gear indication.Color combination (orange, Black), Styling, And appearance are brilliant. The seating feels a bit stiff after a long drive.Needs a bit softer seat.I also miss the led white headlight available in 390 adventure.Suspension is good, Though rigid on sudden and steep bumps/potholes.Mileage ranges from 25-28km/hr.Overall, I love the brand ktm and the power it delivers.A true fan of ktm bikes.

A True Trailblazer with Room for Improvement

Having recently purchased the KTM 250 Adventure, I am mostly thrilled with its performance as a beginner to intermediate adventure bike. Right from the start, its 248.8 cc engine offering a respectable 29 HP captivated me. The bike's strength is evident in its power delivery, specially useful on rough terrain. The 9.5 liter fuel tank allows for extended rides without frequent stops makes it a travel friendly bike.Riding comfort is enhanced by the WP suspension, providing stability over bumps and during off road adventures.
