Benelli Launches The TRK 502 BS6 And It Cost Less Than Before

Benelli has launched the TRK 502 BS6 at Rs 4,79,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Compared to the BS4 version, the BS6 one costs Rs 30,100 less. However, this is only an introductory offer, so expect the prices to be hiked up to Rs 5.3 lakh, give or take. So, what more does Benelli offer with the BS6 variant of the TRK 502?
Borrowing a few components from the internationally launched model, the Benelli TRK 502 BS6 uses reinforced aluminium knuckle guards, powder-coated handlebar with new grips, and revised mirrors. Moreover, the switchgear and analogue console get a white backlight, whereas the digital screen gets orange light for enhanced visibility. Benelli has also altered the top box mounting position. The seat now is broader and offers better cushioning.

The motor is now a BS6-compliant, liquid-cooled, 500cc, inline twin-cylinder, mated to a 6-speed gearbox that makes 47.5PS and 46Nm. The output figures are the same as the BS4 version. We believe that, like most other motorcycles, the Benelli TRK 502 has gotten a few kilos heavier owing to its transition to the BS6 norms. However, there’s no official confirmation from the brand itself.
The underpinnings remain unchanged. The company has equipped the TRK 502 BS6 with USD fork and monoshock setup. The braking hardware comprises twin-disc and a single rear-disc with dual-channel ABS as standard. Its rival list includes the more affordable KTM 390 Adventure and the more premium Kawasaki Versys 650.
