  • I don't think so.most probably you were able to the bike only on the front of toes
  • I am 6 feet and cant really flat foot it. Go for the TRK 502 instead.
  • TRK 502 has 800mm seat height same as Dominar, it's the X version that has 40mm more. But don't you think weight of the bike is too much, for a small built personality like me. Why I'm asking is this, I really like this bike, looking forward to own one, but the weight is concerning me...😒

  • Minor changes like the extra padding on the seat, the adjustable handlebar and the revised grips do make a difference in terms of overall rideability. The cushioning on the seat is spot on which means you can spend extended amounts of time travelling without a sore back. At 800mm, it's quite accessible for shorter riders too. What is a bit odd is the slim midsection which doesn’t allow you to grip or control the bike using your legs while going off-road. This basically forces you to use your entire body weight and to counter the weight of the bike while relying on arms to steer which gets quite exhausting after a period of time. I even struggled to get used to the mid-set footpeg position. It just didn’t feel natural for my 5’ 10” frame. I probably would have found it more comfortable if they were mildly rear-set. Q. The TRK 502 bs6 on road price in Chennai as of 14 April 2021 is 5.9 lacks I visited Nandanam Benelli showroom and enquired. But on road price shown here is 50 k lesser around 5.4 lacks. Why ?
  • The price which is shown on the website from different cities give an approximate idea but they do not include dealer handling charges, logistic charges, accessories charges or third party insurance. So, the final quote will be shared by the authorized dealership. We here at ZigWheels, try to get close to the on-road price by including all the basic charges like RTO, standard insurance, etc so that one can make a road map before buying a vehicle.

Q. Which one is best Benelli TRK 502 or Versys 650?
  • I think, there was a comparison video done by Overdrive.. Check in YouTube. Being a Versys 650 owner, I would not prefer TRK502 due to its weight, under power engine, reliability issues and past history of the brand Benelli in India. You must look between V-Strom 650 and Versys 650 if you are in market to buy one.
  • At present, it would not be possible to provide a fruitful comparison as the TRK 502 is yet to be launched. So we would suggest you to wait till the brand reveals the complete details of the TRK 502. Stay tuned.
Q. Does Benelli TRK 502 have quick shifter and slipper clutch?
  • Benelli TRK 502 BS6 is powered by a BS6-compliant liquid-cooled 500cc inline twin-cylinder, mated to a 6-speed gearbox that makes 47.5PS and 46Nm. The only electronic aid on the bike is dual-channel ABS. The Benelli TRK 502 rides on 17-inch wheels wrapped in 120/70-section front and 160/60-section rear tyres. Braking is handled by a dual 320mm disc and a single 260mm disc setup. Suspension duties on the TRK 502 ADV are handled by USD forks and a mono-shock with rebound and preload adjustability, with the multi-disc wet clutch but misses out on slipper clutch and quick shifter.

The looks and build quality of the bike is amazing.It is suitable for long touring and slight offroading since it does not have spoke wheels.Its power to weight ratio is slightly less.Few of the older owners have faced a challenge getting the after sales service for their genuine issues they faced.Mine is a new one so i still have some miles to munch before writing on the issues faced.So far its been really pleasant.Few of the common issues noted were with the clutch plate and the rear tyre getting worn out from only right side.Hope benelli works on their after sales as good as they have worked on the product and pricing because they have excellent bikes for the mid segment.
