Bajaj has hiked the prices of its entire BS6 lineup. The models affected are Bajaj’s commuter motorcycles, the Pulsar range as well as the Dominar and Avenger range. The Bajaj Pulsar range consists of the Pulsar 220, Pulsar RS200, Pulsar NS200, Pulsar 180F, Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 125 Neon. Here’s a table with the new prices of the Pulsar range.

The Pulsar 125 Neon gets the lowest price hike while the Pulsar RS200 and Pulsar NS200 see the highest increase. It is interesting to note that while the Pulsar 125 is the most affordable Pulsar you can buy, the Pulsar NS twins are the most expensive. They are also the most technologically advanced Pulsars, boasting of a liquid-cooled 200cc motor, a perimeter frame, and monoshock suspension.
Bikemakers like Hero, Honda and more recently, Yamaha have hiked the prices of their BS6 range. Bajaj has been known to launch its products at a competitive price point and hike it incrementally. While the bikemaker has not specified the exact reason behind the increment, we suspect, like others, Bajaj too wants to offset the costs of revamping its entire lineup to comply with BS6 norms and the additional burden of lack of sales due to the COVID-19 lockdown. In other news, select Bajaj and KTM dealerships have reopened amidst the lockdown.
