Ahead of its official launch, the 2023 Bajaj Pulsar 125 has started arriving at dealerships.  Just a couple of hours ago we brought to you the first look of the bike and it comes with a bunch of upgrades over the outgoing model.

The design of the bike remains the same as before – commuter with a hint of sportiness to it. However, the updated model gets new colours and sportier graphics to make it more relevant. Adding to the snazzy graphics are the brand new six-spoke alloy wheels. These are quite eye-catching and flaunt a unique grass-cutter-like design.

While the engine is the same 124.4cc, two-valve unit, it now comes with a fuel injector, instead of the electronic carburetor. This will result in an updated ECU as well. To comply with the latest BS6.2 emission norms, the baby Pulsar comes with a second-gen onboard diagnostics system that monitors emission levels in real time.

The outgoing model makes 11.8PS and 10.8Nm, and we expect the upcoming one to produce similar power and torque figures.

Same semi-digital console now indicates distance to empty, real time fuel efficiency, two trip meters, and an emission warning light. Apart from that, the console also displays speed, odometer, side stand indicator, and other tell-tale lights.

Naturally, with the upgrades the prices will go up too, and the new single seat Neon model costs Rs 96,202, on-road Noida. The current model is priced at Rs 80,173, ex-showroom, so we can expect a hike of around Rs 5,000. The baby Pulsar goes up against the likes of Hero Glamour 125, TVS Raider 125, Honda Shine and the Honda SP125. Expect the bike to officially launch in the weeks ahead.
