Does this makeover make the humble commuter any sportier?
Bajaj Auto has rolled out a new variant of the Pulsar 125. Called the Carbon Fibre edition, it’s available in both single-seat and split-seat configurations, and priced at Rs 89,254 and Rs 91,642 respectively (both prices ex-showroom Delhi).
No, Bajaj hasn’t gone all premium and kitted the humble Pulsar with actual carbon fibre components. Rather, a few panels, like the belly pan, front fender, tank and rear cowl now get carbon fibre stickers. The overall design, hence, remains unchanged, with the single-pod headlight with twin DRLs, muscular fuel tank, bolted tank extensions and side-slung exhaust.
The single-seat and split-seat options of the Carbon Fibre edition are available in two colourways – Blue and Red. Both paint options feature a black base along with coloured graphics on the headlight cowl, fuel tank and shrouds, engine cowl, rear panel and alloy wheel stripes.

Mechanically, the bike retains the same 124.4cc single cylinder mill that produces 11.8PS and 10.8Nm, paired to a five-speed gearbox. Underpinnings include a telescopic fork and twin gas-charged shocks. It gets 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in an 80-section front and 100-section rear tyre.
The Bajaj Pulsar 125 goes up against the likes of the Hero Glamour 125, Honda Shine and Honda SP125.
