Yamaha R15, FZ25 And R3 Get a Bit More Expensive

- Expect Yamaha to further increase prices by around 10-15 per cent with the BS6 models.
- The R15 V3 has received the biggest price hike.
- MT-15's price remains unchanged.
A couple of months ago, Yamaha had announced that it would begin manufacturing BS6-compliant bikes by November 2019 followed by scooters in December. The resultant would be a price hike of around 15-20 per cent. As we inch closer to the day, the brand has increased prices of select motorcycles. The new price list is as follows:

Yamaha has already started testing a couple of its BS6-compliant bikes and scooters, proof being the Fascino test mule that was spotted testing for the first time. It has also filed the required documents for the BS6-compliant R15 V3.0 and we’ve already seen that there’s a small drop in its performance figures.
You could expect a sharp drop in price with the onset of BS6 emission norms. So if you’ve been on the lookout for your favourite Yammie, the next couple of months would be the perfect time to pick one up.
