EXCLUSIVE: Yamaha Plans To Make The R15S V3 More Colourful

According to our sources, the Yamaha R15S V3 could get two new colour options – Red and Dark Knight (All-black) – on April 11. Currently, the fully faired supersport is available in Racing Blue and is priced at Rs 1.58 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Like the older Yamaha R15 V3, these new shades could command a minor premium.

The R15S V3 is essentially the previous-gen supersport with a single-piece seat instead of the stepped unit. The lower height of the pillion seat has been designed to add more comfort while also reducing the effort to mount the bike.

The addition of these new colours will improve the appeal of Yamaha’s supersport when pitched against the Suzuki Gixxer SF, which gets three colours: Pearl Mira Red, Metallic Triton Blue, and Glass Sparkle Black.
