Thankfully, the price hike isn’t hefty enough to affect the buyer’s decision. The Yamaha R15M is still a lot more affordable than the KTM RC 200, which retails at Rs 2,14,688 (ex-showroom Delhi). Despite seeing two price hikes in two months, even the entry-level Yamaha R15S is a whole Rs 26,740 cheaper than its closest rival, the KTM RC 125, while packing more power and better features. Hence, Yamaha clearly has the price advantage.
In a related development, Yamaha recently launched the 2022 Monster Energy MotoGP Editions of four of its two-wheelers, including the R15M.
