Just two months after its launch, the Yamaha MT-15 V2.0 has witnessed a Rs 2,000 price hike, which is also the highest in Yamaha’s motorcycle line-up. While the hike itself might not sound that high, considering that the updated model commanded a significantly high premium of Rs 12,000 over its predecessor at launch, makes the MT-15 V2.0 feel quite expensive now.

That said, even with the premium, the MT-15 V2.0 is more affordable than the KTM 125 Duke and Yamaha R15 V4, and has also managed to be one of the best-selling bikes in April and May 2022.

Apart from that, the 150cc FZ series and the R15 line-up have also seen a minimal price hike, which shouldn’t affect buyers’ decisions.

In related news, Yamaha will be bringing the MT-07 and the YZF-R7 to India this year. Click here for more details.
