Triumph Trident 660: Now At A Store Near You

The most affordable Triumph on sale has made its way to showrooms

At long last, Triumph finally launched its eagerly anticipated Trident 660 in India last week. And now, the most affordable Triumph on sale in India has reached dealerships. Bookings are open for an amount of Rs 50,000, and the bike itself is priced at a very tempting Rs 6.95 lakh (ex-showroom).

For that money you get a 660cc inline-triple motor belting out 81PS and 64Nm, and the glorious Triumph triple soundtrack that we've fallen so deeply in love with. The standard features list includes all-LED lighting, TFT instrumentation, riding modes and switchable traction control, with a bi-directional quickshifter being offered as an optional extra.

In terms of competition, the Trident sits neatly between the Kawasaki Z650 and Honda CB650R both in terms of price as well as engine output. The Kawi offers 68PS and 64Nm at Rs 6.18 lakh, while the CB serves up 87PS and 57.5Nm at a rather exorbitant Rs 8.67 lakh.
