BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split Seat Arrives At Dealerships...

… sadly, it will only be available in a few states like Andhra Pradesh and Bihar

  • It is expected to be around Rs 3,500 to Rs 4,000 dearer than the single-seat version.
  • There are minor cosmetic differences between the two bikes as well.
  • Powertrain remains the same as the single-piece seat Pulsar 125.
  • Last year, hot on the heels of the launch of the Bajaj Pulsar 125, we had spotted a split seat version of the motorcycle. Bajaj had confirmed that the split seat version was only going to be available in certain parts of the country like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Bihar. With the slew of BS6 launches, this particular model remained to be updated. Until now that is, as the BS6 Pulsar 125 split seat model has been spotted at dealerships.

We are yet to get our hands on the prices of the BS6 bike. Considering that the previous BS4 model was around Rs 3,500 to Rs 4,000 more expensive than the standard version, expect the same price buffer to exist between the models in the BS6 era as well. That means this split seat version could be priced at between Rs 78,500 and Rs 79,000 (ex-showroom Bihar).

To differentiate between the two variants, Bajaj has given a few subtle cosmetic updates to the split seat model. You get a small belly pan, split grab rails and unique graphics on the split seat model and of course, split seats! Aside from that, the 124.4cc engine remains the same unit, putting out 11.8PS and 10.8Nm.
