The 2022 Xtreme 160R is here and Hero MotoCorp has made a couple of changes to the latest edition of the entry-level street fighter pushing its value for money proposition even further. The Hero Xtreme 160R continues to be available in three variants with prices starting at Rs 1,17,148 (ex-showroom Delhi). And that’s the best part, with prices remaining unchanged, as new customers can now avail the new additions at no extra cost.
The new Xtreme features a useful gear position indicator on its negatively lit LCD instrument cluster, a feature that will now be offered as standard on all three variants and not just on the Stealth edition.
Additionally, the updated bike also gets a revised seat and a redesigned pillion grabrail.
Everything else on the Xtreme 160R remains unchanged as it continues to be powered by the same 163cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine making 15.2PS and 14Nm. It still gets a five-speed gearbox and its suspension hardware comprises the same 37mm telescopic fork and preload adjustable monoshock.
The Xtreme 160R is available in three variants – the most affordable is the single disc variant which uses a 130mm drum brake at the rear. The dual-disc and Stealth Edition feature a 276mm front and 220mm rear petal disc but it only gets single-channel ABS.
Prices for each variant are as follows:
