Much-awaited launches, scoop on upcoming bikes & more, this week was an action-packed one
This week, we witnessed some key developments in both the Indian and the international two-wheeler segment. Here are the top 5 headline-grabbers:
Ola MoveOS 3 Launched
Ola Electric has finally launched the MoveOS 3 over-the-air (OTA) update which finally brings in a lot of features that were earlier promised at the S1 Pro’s launch. Bits like ‘moods’, proximity unlock, regen braking and more now make the S1 Pro India’s most feature-packed electric scooter.
Indian Launches
Talking about launches that were much looked-forward to, we finally also got the Hero XPulse 200T 4V. For a small premium over its predecessor, the XPulse 200’s road-biased sibling now boasts of a bunch of upgrades including more power and torque. In a surprise move, Bajaj also gave us something impressive. The Pune-based bikemaker relaunched the Platina 110 ABS, making it the cheapest bike with ABS in India, once again.
Honda News
Honda had a couple of attractive-looking bikes for the Chinese market this week. It first unveiled the CBF190R. It looks sharp and aggressive, but not much sets it apart from the Hornet 2.0. Next one was the CL300 scrambler. It looks gorgeous and sounds apt for the trail-taming sessions every weekend.
Yamaha Augur
Yamaha’s lineup for India is…lukewarm, to say the least. And what rubs salt to our wounds is its ultra cool international launches, case in point, the Augur. It is based on the Aerox 155 but gets mind-blowing bits like cornering lights and even a temperature-sensitive headlight!
Harley-Davidson X350
Just days after we got a glimpse of them, more details about the Harley-Davidson X350 & X500 have leaked thanks to a type-approval document and they sure sound and look exciting, at least on paper.
