Bajaj Platina 110 Pros and Cons

Platina 110 Positives Points: Available at a budget-friendly price, Fuel-efficient

Platina 110 Negatives Points: The design may not be appealing to everyone's preferences

Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : The Platina was intended to position Bajaj directly against Hero Motocorp. Though its uninspiring design, drawn from the Bajaj-Kawasaki Wind 125, isn't quite making a compelling argument for its competitiveness, the Platina more than makes up for it by offering a host of features, including segment-first ABS, making it one of the safest bikes in its segment.

Good Bike

I have owned the 2024 Platina 110 drum variant for the last 2 months. This drum variant comes with 4 gears and lacks ABS, disc brakes, or rear wheel lift-off protection. Additionally, it misses out on a digital console, making it almost 10k cheaper than its bigger brother. The engine runs buttery smooth at around 5000 to 6000 RPMs. The torque of 9.81 Nm is healthy enough for overtaking and maneuvering through busy traffic. The transmission operates smoothly, and gear shifting provides tactile feedback, although the first gear can be a bit rough when starting from a standstill position, requiring some movement for smoother shifting. The power delivery from the 115.45cc air-cooled engine is linear. I have easily achieved a speed of 85 kmph, and there was no hesitation whatsoever. However, at speeds above 60 kmph, vibrations are noticeable at the footpegs and handlebar. Regarding braking, the brakes feel spongy, and the bite is not as great, which affects confidence while braking. The build quality of the bike is robust, with good paint quality. The broad and flat pillion footpegs with rubber padding reduce vibrations and are comfortable for the pillion rider. The LED DRL is bright, but the halogen headlight could have been better. The turn indicators are stylish, although they are halogen, they seem unique in this segment. The suspensions are good, especially the rear nitrox suspension from Endurance, which performs well with a pillion rider, absorbing most potholes and bumps easily. However, when riding alone, I do feel that it is a bit on the stiffer side, providing less comfort but more agility. Overall, I like the product. It offers a good package at a healthy price point.

Driving experience

5.0

Talking about the driving experience of platina 110 as its of bajaj its shockups are really good for back, They are so comfortable and smooth. As you take platina 110 you will assurely get mileage upto 70-75/ltr its real average bike for petrol savers.Pickup is decent as is of 110 cc but quite good.As for servicing first six services are free at bajaj service centre but you have to wait for long time to return it.After that you will charged a small charge.Body is of hard fibre and petrol tank is of hard metal which is good durable.Engine is really powerful experience and cooling system is really fast.Overall if you have budget of 80000band mileage bike you wanted, Blindly go for platina 110.

This bike is good for regular use and for those who look for a bike with both mileage and comfort along with safety, The body is so good that it can stand most of the accidents.Mileage is pretty good around 65, Maintanence cost is pretty low.Using since 4 years yet nothing much damaged.Lighting and pickup is good at that price range. If you aren't that much of a racer this bike can be the best in that segment ☺️ only problem is the shock absorbers. They give a little discomfort on bumpy roads other than that it's awesome.
