The UCE mill continues to bring all the fans to the yard
Despite most showrooms across the country being shut due to the second wave of the pandemic, Royal Enfield actually managed to do some decent business in the month of April. Here’s the domestic sales scorecard of each RE motorcycle:
RE Models |
Sales |
Bullet 350 |
9,908 |
Bullet 350 ES |
3,631 |
Classic 350 |
23,298 |
Meteor 350 |
7,844 |
Himalayan |
2,815 |
Interceptor 650 And Continental GT 650 |

The Classic 350 continues to be a crowd favourite, with its UCE sibling, the Bullet 350, raking in respectable figures as well. While the Classic will be upgrading to the J-platform in the coming months, the Bullet is likely to soldier on with the UCE mill. If you do not want to miss out on the old-school charm of the engine, then you should get the Classic soon. However, having experienced the Meteor 350 and the technological advancements that it brings over the UCE platform, we cannot help but wait for the new retro roadster.

The Himalayan, Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650 have each received their small updates for 2021. While all three get new colours, it is the RE ADV that gets a few more serious updates like the Tripper pod, and slight ergo changes. Nevertheless, these bikes have been rocking the sales chart and we expect their popularity will not diminish in the next couple of years.
