  • Maruti Fronx and Jimny to be exported to overseas markets.

  • Shipping will begin after their launch in India.

  • Customers can commence pre-booking the SUVs.

  • No official date, but the price reveal should happen in the coming days.

The Maruti Fronx and five-door Jimny will soon become the second and third SUV in the carmaker’s current portfolio to be shipped to international markets after the Grand Vitara. Both the SUVs made their debut at the Auto Expo, and both are pending a price reveal, which should be coming soon. They’ll first be launched here in India and then make their way to markets including Africa and Latin America.

The Maruti Fronx is a crossover SUV based on the Baleno hatchback, while this five-door Jimny is the elongated version of the standard three-door model. Both are Nexa offerings but are very dissimilar in what their packages offer.

The Jimny is a proper off-roading SUV and you can read all about it in our 360-degree detailed article. We’ve also done a variant-wise feature comparison for the same.
