Nissan Magnite Overview
The newly launched Nissan Magnite facelift has started to arrive at dealerships as deliveries are now underway. Introductory prices start at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom), and are applicable for the first 10,000 bookings only. The 2024 Magnite gets 6 variants and 12 colour options. It comes with two engine options- a 72PS 1-litre naturally aspirated engine and 100PS 1-litre turbo-petrol engine.
Nissan Magnite Key Highlights
Features: The 2024 Nissan Magnite comes equipped with amenities such as an 8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch digital instrument display, air purifier, wireless phone charger, a 6-speaker Arkamys tuned sound system, ambient lighting with 4 colours, keyless entry with push-button start stop and cruise control. Safety is taken care of by six airbags, ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, rear parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system and electronic stability control.
Engine: Nissan provides the Magnite with two petrol engine options: a 72 PS / 96 Nm 1-litre naturally aspirated unit and a 100PS / up to 160 Nm 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. A 5-speed manual is offered as standard, while automatic options include a 5-speed AMT with the naturally aspirated engine and CVT with the turbo-petrol unit. In terms of dimensions, the Magnite measures 3994 mm in length, 1758 mm in width, and 1572 mm in height. The wheelbase of the subcompact SUV is 2500 mm. The turbo-petrol engine offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 20 kmpl with the manual gearbox and 17.4 kmpl with the CVT.
Rivals: The Nissan Magnite locks horns with the Tata Punch / Nexon, Maruti Fronx, Hyundai Exter / Venue, Kia Sonet, Toyota Taisor, Renault Kiger, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Mahindra XUV 3XO.
Variants: The Nissan Magnite can be had in 6 variants: Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and Tekna+. It is available in 10 colour options (monotone and dualtone): Copper Orange with Black roof, Pearl White, Vivid Blue, Onyx Black, Flare Garnet Red, Blade Silver, Pearl White with Black roof, Garnet Red with black roof, Blade Silver with black roof and Vivid Blue with black roof
The base-spec Magnite misses out on the new colour option and the premiumness, but you still get an automatic and 6 airbags with it.
