Features: The 2024 Nissan Magnite comes equipped with amenities such as an 8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch digital instrument display, air purifier, wireless phone charger, a 6-speaker Arkamys tuned sound system, ambient lighting with 4 colours, keyless entry with push-button start stop and cruise control. Safety is taken care of by six airbags, ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, rear parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system and electronic stability control.

Engine: Nissan provides the Magnite with two petrol engine options: a 72 PS / 96 Nm 1-litre naturally aspirated unit and a 100PS / up to 160 Nm 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. A 5-speed manual is offered as standard, while automatic options include a 5-speed AMT with the naturally aspirated engine and CVT with the turbo-petrol unit. The Nissan Magnite is expected to receive a retrofitted CNG kit soon. Its sibling SUV, the Renault Kiger, was recently updated with the same powertrain option, and since both models share the same platform and engine, a CNG variant for the Magnite seems likely. The CNG option will be available with the 1-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering slightly reduced power and torque, as is typical with CNG cars. The CNG variants are also expected to come at a slight premium over the standard petrol versions. The regular Nissan Magnite is priced between Rs 6.14 lakh and Rs 11.76 lakh (ex-showroom).
