The manual gearbox is offered in the standard trim while the optional trims will come with automatic transmission.
-
Platinum seems to be the range-topping trim in the lineup. The MT can be had only as a 7-seater, while the same with an automatic means it only comes as a 6-seater.
-
The Prestige MT trim can be had either as a 6- or 7-seater. However, the same variant with the petrol-AT and diesel-AT can be had as a 6-seater and 7-seater respectively, not both.
The Alcazar will be offered in six shades: Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Polar White, Phantom Black, Taiga Brown, and Starry Night. The last two are unique to the Alcazar.
The SUV will be powered by either a 159PS 2.0-litre petrol or a 115PS 1.5-litre diesel engine. Both motors drive the front wheels and come equipped with a 6-speed manual and an optional 6-speed automatic transmission. Head here for more on its feature list and design.
The Hyundai Alcazar is expected to be priced from Rs 13 lakh (ex-showroom), putting it in the ballpark of the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and the upcoming Mahindra XUV700.
