Bookings for Mahindra’s latest SUV will begin from October 07, but be prepared to wait to finally have it delivered

The wait is finally over! Mahindra has announced the XUV700’s detailed variant-wise prices. Starting from Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the mid-size SUV is available in two broad trims: MX and AdrenoX (AX). The latter has multiple variants: AX3, AX5, and AX7. Both trims get petrol and diesel engine options.

All variants except the AX7 are 5-seaters.

You can spec the AX7 automatic with an optional Luxury Pack for a Rs 1.8 lakh premium. This includes additional features like a Sony 3D surround sound system, a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitoring, electronic parking brake, and a wireless phone charger.

The AX7 diesel-automatic gets an optional all-wheel drivetrain for an extra Rs 1.3 lakh. And no, neither the diesel-manual nor the petrol engine gets AWD.

The XUV700’s prices undercut the Tata Safari, which is priced between Rs 14.99 lakh and Rs 23.17 lakh.

All the prices mentioned above are introductory and will be applicable for the first 25,000 bookings only.
Bookings for the XUV700 will begin from October 07, and Mahindra has said it will announce delivery dates before October 10. Also, deliveries of petrol variants will precede the diesel model. Test drives will begin in a phased manner from October 02.
The SUV is powered by a 2-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine. The latter is offered in multiple tunes and is the only option you can team with the all-wheel drivetrain. Both engines get manual and automatic transmission options:
